I recently purchased a hair product—the product name caught my attention, “20 Miracles in 1”. Not just a single action but 20 in 1, now that’s a claim, and my hair could do with a good dose of miracles anyway.
My imagination kicked into gear as the name inspired me, one action, 20 miracles, I like that! Imagine if each seed of hope planted produced 20 miracles through that one simple act of kindness.
I recently heard a story of a family celebrating their son’s birthday at a local restaurant. A stranger sitting close by realised it was the boy’s birthday and gave him some money and wished him a happy birthday when she left the restaurant.
The boy’s mother, overwhelmed with gratitude, was determined to pay it forward to others so they could experience the same generosity of the precious woman who planted a simple act of kindness, possibly not considering the impact that would have on the boy and his family but inspiring others too.
What if a single act of kindness brought hope to just one person who told 20 people, and each of those 20 people was inspired and then planted one hope seed in others? What if 20 miracles in 1 weren’t just the name for a hair product but, instead, was a reality in our community?
Needless to say, I was very happy with my purchase, the name continues to inspire me each time I use it, and my hair is healthier than it was—win-win!
