What is Seeds of Hope Community?

Seeds of Hope Community is building stronger, healthier and safer local communities through the small things we do to influence others and shape the culture of our homes and community.
It’s a grassroots initiative to encourage anyone to plant seeds of hope in the lives of others anywhere, anytime. It’s not a movement, nor a group to join, nothing to sign up to and nothing to sell—it’s a lifestyle shift through the decisions YOU make.
It’s being a voice in your community, starting initiatives to help others, making a meal for someone, helping a neighbour, sharing and exchanging produce from your backyard, volunteering, getting involved in something where you can make a difference, it’s raising the standards and championing the younger generation to be the best they can be.
It’s whatever that looks like to you to build a stronger community.

Why Seeds of Hope Community?

Without hope, the heart becomes sick, impacting the body, mind and soul. In the last few years, we have seen a rapid decline of hope in the world as chaos has increased.
By planting seeds of hope in the lives of others we can all become part of the solution. We have been given one life, and we each have the ability to make a positive difference.

Who is Seeds of Hope Community?

It’s you and me. It’s the stay-at-home mum or dad, the widow, the school teacher or nurse, the CEO, the tradie, the single parent, grandparents, children, teens, young adults—it’s all of us!

How do we change things?

Through one seed of hope at a time we become a community. By helping others with intensional generosity and kindness we help ourselves and strengthen our family and community. Your hands can bring hope to those around you. Check out the blogs below to hear how others impact their family and community. Start today!

    Bless Through the Stress

Life has a way of knocking us down at times, leaving us with two options when the knocks come, to get back up or stay down. We can allow the circumstances to make us bitter instead of better. But what if the hard knocks were actually training? What if each time we got back up, Read more

    Encouragement in Disappointment

As a keen organic gardener, I understand the labour of love it takes to prepare an area for a new veggie patch—clearing the ground and removing all the weeds and debris before adding organic matter and nutrients to the soil in order to plant the seed. Once the tender seedlings start to grow, they need Read more

I recently had two of my grandchildren stay over. My garden, although small, is always a place of excitement and interest for the children to plant seeds and pick the harvest. With baskets in their hands, they were excited to receive instructions to gather salad veggies for dinner. Their happy little faces revealed their success Read more

    Multiplying Miracles

I recently purchased a hair product—the product name caught my attention, “20 Miracles in 1”. Not just a single action but 20 in 1, now that’s a claim, and my hair could do with a good dose of miracles anyway. My imagination kicked into gear as the name inspired me, one action, 20 miracles, I Read more
